Business News: MVHS welcomes new doctor to Women’s Health Center - Utica Observer Dispatch
Jerome Rosenstein, MD, has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Medical Group as an obstetrician/gynecologist at the MVHS Women's Health Center and MVHS OB Care Center, where he will provide inpatient and outpatient care.
Rosenstein has more than 32 years of experience in the OB/GYN specialty and joins MVHS from Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home in Gloversville. He specializes in providing care to women across the continuum of care, including prenatal, antepartum and postpartum gynecological care. He also provides support and care to women through the perimenopause and menopausal processes.
Rosenstein earned a medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He performed his OB/GYN residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

• Elizabeth Pole has been named the vice president, Central New York market executive at Bank of America. In her new position, Pole is responsible for connecting the bank's investment resources to families and individuals within the market. She is also responsible for helping to lead the bank's efforts to address social concerns, improve economic opportunity, and build strong communities. Pole joined the Bank of America team in 2008 as a contact center customer service agent. Since then, she has held a variety of roles, most recently as the bank's segment academy manager.
• Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica, 200 Genesee St., Utica, will host the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26. The evening will feature a cocktail reception, hors d'oeuvres station, live-action pasta station, a dessert station, live entertainment with a DJ and a photo booth. Guests can drop their business cards for a chance to win a door prize and the hotel also will have a Scavenger Hunt throughout the property to be entered into a drawing for one of three prizes. • The Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) Grant Program announces a free women-focused virtual job fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. The goal of the job fair is to help women gain employment in nontraditional occupations. The WANTO program, administered by the Workforce Development Board, Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties, Inc., focuses on helping women gain employment in nontraditional occupations primarily in the informational technology, advanced manufacturing, trades, agriculture, and transportation sectors.
